Churn dash update...I guess it is every Monday!

Good morning!  I sewed three more churn dash blocks!!  Hurrah!!  Only a few more to go!

I am trying to eat more veggies each day.  On work days, it is harder, but this is my selection for today.  I just washed them, cut them up, and baked them with a dash of olive oil, salt and pepper.  Lots better than junk food!

I have a zillion of these blocks cut out.  Truly a whole bunch.  Would anyone like to adopt this UFO?  I will send them all to whomever wants them first!

I have lots of these blocks, all cut out.  Would anyone like these!?  I have the blues cut out, and you would need to add whatever neutrals you would like.

Just let me know if you would like to adopt these projects.

Have a lovely day!

Julie

Your churn dash blocks are pretty, and so are those other give-away blocks. Someone will grab them soon I bet! Those pretty veggies remind me that I have a veggie "lupper" (lunch and supper) ready in the fridge for this afternoon. I just love veggies of all kinds. ---"Love"

Great idea for quick and nutritious veggies--my hubby is not a veggie fan, so i do much the same for myself...;))) Your churn dash blocks are really neat--nice work hugs, Julierose

If all the stars are blue, I would gladly accept them to make a Quilt of Valor.

You are really cruising on the Churn Dash blocks, Julie!
Good for you on the veggies, my friend. I just ate a whole cucumber with my lunch. :)
Looks like your blue stars have found a good home, and I'm sure your other project will, too. I'd better not take it because it appears that I am currently already drowning in UFOs of my own!

Hi Julie. I really love all the Churn Dash blocks. They are very pretty and will make a beautiful quilt.
I have been trying to eat more vegetables too. With all the gardens coming in, it is nice to get some that are very fresh.
I would love to have the other blocks if no one has claimed them. About 7 weeks ago, I picked up a bad Bacterial Infection from a cat's claw. It was so horrible. My leg swelled up, turned bright red, and felt like it was on fire. I was in the hospital for a week. When I came home, I was to stay off my feet and keep my leg propped up. I am finally able to walk around on it so I can go into my sewing room finally. Yay!! Doing a happy dance! LOL

Adorable blocks, but churn dashes may be my absolute favorites! I made a 3" one today for Pat Sloan's Secret Lives of Color quilt with an Egyptian blue dash and brown and blue polka dots for the squares and other part of the HST. I am assuming that all the projects have been claimed but if not I would be happy to adopt one. Good job on the veggies! :-) Have a great Tuesday! K- lkw2x6-apq@yahoo.com

Your churn dash blocks look great, what wonderful progress! I've started in the past year or so making vegetables a key part of my lunch as well. It's been harder this year since the garden is slow to produce with our cool spring, but some is better than nothing!

Your vegetable medley looks good, Julie. How long and at what temperature do you bake them?

My first thought when I saw the pinwheels was that you had made a potholder... but instead the " binding " is the basket the blocks are in. You are busy.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
