These plaid and scrap flying geese are for the border of the "Sweet Land of Liberty" quilt. It is great fun to make these!!
These are the bow tie blocks for today. I have at last locked in and gotten serious about these...I need 480 of them to make a lap quilt, for a hospitalized patient. 3 inch finished!
Have a super day!

Love the plaid geese. :)
You said you had lots of those bow ties. Do you have anywhere near that many?
I have always liked bow ties... yours are tiny!
Lookin' great!
I hope to go on a flying geese bender soon :-) I love looking at them. Yours look wonderful!
480 three inch bow tie blocks is a lot! But they are easy enough to make. You are so kind to your patients by giving them a gift from the heart. Your nursing care and a quilt. They may want to make a return visit for more.
Those flying geese will look great as a border for your Sweet Land of Liberty quilt. I want to make a quilt of flying geese, but haven't even started. You have inspired me to gather up some fabric and start cutting some out. Thanks for sharing with not your followers but with your patients.
Yikes, three inch blocks? that's tiny! You go girl! Love the plaid geese, too!
I never comment but always read. I absolutely love the tender heart you have for your patients. How is Rosie? I've been worried about her. I checked daily for an update after your vet visit but you've probably been working long hours. When you have a moment please update us. I'm holding a good thought and saying prayers.
