I prepped this flower block for my applique quilt, Mrs. Lincoln's quilt. It is fun to have things all prepped and ready to applique!
I finished all my alternate blocks for the mystery quilt I am working on! Hurrah! I have not trimmed them, because I do not have an appropriate ruler. Soon I will, though!!!

I would probably stitch right up the middle of the geese... using different colours of thread in each column of course!
Pretty fabrics in your quilt projects! How about a circle or a heart in each flying geese.
Wonderful projects! It looks nice to have an arc in the sky part of each goose, from edge to middle point of goose. I guess it could go either way, concave or convex, but I usually see it out into the sky. Or stitch in the ditch around each goose would work well, too.
Such a pretty flower block; as are those alternate blocks for your mystery quilt. I rather like the idea of stitch in the ditch quilting around each goose, too. =)

I love the vines-and-geese design. I can imagine how I'd machine-quilt it, but can't offer advice on hand-quilting.
The vines and geese are so lovely and that cheddar on the back is wonderful! I kind of like stitches 1/4" in outlining the edges. Whatever you choose will be beautiful!
