Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I have been slowly stitching on this little quilt, through the last couple of weeks. I improvised and using scraps of everything in the scrap box, made this quilt. Flowers reaching for the sun!! So now the thing is to quilt it. There is a log jam, folks, in that department at my house...I have lots of quilts in the to-be-quilted phase...do you?
I am linking to Kathy's blog...go and check out all the slow stitching going on! HERE!!
Have a fun football Sunday!!

You would think your scrap bin would be empty by now!
As always, lovely!
I love your quilt. Fresh flowers. so beautiful. Happy Slow Stitching Sunday!
At this stage only have a few tops waiting to be quilted. But its too hot to do in summer, so thats my excuse to ignore them and keep piecing new tops! I love the two different toned green borders on this cute quilt.
My "to be quilted" pile keeps getting deeper, you're definitely not alone. This flower quilt is wonderful, so fresh and fun!
I have many in the to be quilted pile too. Some I want to hand quilt, others I want to do on my machine! and most I want to do on my mom's long arm. I am intimidated by the long arm, so I procrastinate with them! I love this quilt it is happy and springy!
I had a waiting line too, I recently big stitched two and am working on a lap top quilt. With the regular stitches it will take a little longer. Three more tops waiting. Will start the largest one this fall. Since hand quilting them is my favorite process I am glad that they are in line waiting.
This quilt says SPRING is right around the corner... it's delightful!!!
Oh, I have many quilts in the waiting to be quilted stage. That is where I bog down. And I didn't used to be that way. I guess I just find it so fun to create the quilt top that I just keep making more.
Beautiful quilt, Julie!
And yes, I have the same problem. 4 projects waiting to be quilted. ha ha
Oh, boy, do I ever bog down at that point. I have such a pile of "to be quilted" things, but none of mine are this fresh and happy looking!
Such a happy looking quilt. I try to quilt each top as I finish it otherwise I would end up overwhelmed by the quilting task :)
That little quilt is adorable!!
This is so sweet - saving it for future reference right now - lovely!
What an adorable quilt!
Pretty! A taste of spring in the middle of winter!
I have a log jam for quilting too!
Hope you enjoyed your slow stitching...thanks for linking up!
Do you hand-quilt your pieces or do it on a regular machine (or a long-arm machine)? I am not good at machine-quilting. :( I do enjoy hand-quilting, though.
OH...and love that little flower quilt. It's so cheerful and makes me think spring isn't far off. :)
