Busy!

Can you believe it is almost the Fourth of July?  WOW!!!  This is my mini quilt of the month.
I found the book I have been searching for; a book that had real life descriptions and recipes and wisdom from the depression era!!  This one is just wonderful!!  I highly recommend it, if you are interested in the era.  I continue to read and study every night about causes, effects and life during that time.  Just so interesting to me, as I love history.

Speaking of the fourth, I have this quilt out...I truly love it.  A quilt along with Lori of Humble quilts, it was truly a labor of love.  Seems I should display and use it during this time of the year!

Have you seen this book?  A sampler quilt book, and I think it is the next thing in the Moda Blockheads series...a very fun sampler book.  Amazon is just toooooo convenient, don't you think?  I have too much going to start right now, but who knows?

Have a lovely day, each of you!

A perfect mini for this time of year!
You are amazing, Julie--with your work, and all the quilting you do, you still have time to study the depression era. I am sure it is fascinating, but I don't know how you do it all.
Your SAL quilt is a beauty.
How long do you think you will wait before you decide you CAN start on that sampler book? LOL

I hope to get our late June/July decor out later today - including quilts!

The mini quilt is perfect for this time of year - it turned out really nice. I wish I had my Sweet Land of Liberty done so I could display it. It's next in my quilting queue but the one I'm working on now is going to take some time. Maybe I'll just drape the the SLOL top over a chair till I can get to it.

Several years ago, I made a pinwheel table topper out of QOV scrap HSTs. It’s the only red, blue, cream/white piece I’ve made for myself. Glad to see you found the cookbook you’ve been seeking - enjoy!

Oh wow, what a fabulous mini to celebrate the upcoming 4th! I have seen that book, but thankfully have not purchased it as I have to stay focused on finishing some of my UFO's! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Thanks for another great mini!!

Like Robin I think I'll drape my patriotic top. Very close to finishing quilting but we'll see. I like your mini!

I love history too. My husband and I have a booth at the Burleson Antique Mall because we love old stuff and the stories that go with them. Our house is full of oldies but goodies.. kitchen things are my favorites.

I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
