Solid fabrics

Good morning to everyone!!!  I have been really enjoying seeing a solid colored fabric quilt come into being on Bonnie Hunter's blog!!!   I have a little stack of solid colored fabrics that I have been wondering what to do with for a while.  I already had this pattern, from long ago,  (I think from my mom) and also NOW I HAVE A SPECIAL RULER to help make these blocks!   They are just coming together like a breeze!!!

Please go see Bonnie's quilt here, and I will bet you she will be offering a pattern for this one!!!!  Hers is just so pretty!

Quiltville's Quips & Snips!!: Borders It Is! (And FREE SHIPPING!)  Isn't that so fresh and pretty??????

I also got another doggie sewed.  Blue heeler...must be!!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

I'll not worked much with solids, only as backgrounds to help my prints pop. Your post is inspiring :) Thanks for sharing.

I do like the look of Bonnie's and your solid quilts. I have only ever used bits of a solid here and there--never an entire quilt, but I can see that I need to change that at some point in the future. These are really pleasing to look at. That does mean I will have to shop for some solids. :)
Cute blue doggie!

Your solids look just as fun and pretty as Bonnie's, this is such an attractive way to use up some rich, jewel tone solids; I love the block and setting. Do tell, what's your ruler choice for these?

Love your doggies. I'm working on a different pattern of puppies, but they have appliqued eyes and noses!

Hi JulieK,
So pleased that COVID has eased for you and coworkers.
You were doing it tough for a long while.
I live in Australia so we have had few cases and fewer deaths.

Do please tell what ruler you have been using for the triangle cutting.
Thanks, Jane
