Nocturnal quilting

I finished this little quilt.  I put it on the wall, although it is just a quilt top.  Hurrah!!!  These are cut off half square triangles from star blocks.  Waste not, want not!
I have been making Bonnie Hunter's leaders and enders project for this year.  I was just having fun with layouts!  How about this?
 Or this?  Just playing, here!!!
I received this quilt back from the quilters!!!  I am looking forward to binding it and gifting it!!
And at long last...at least 10-12 years old...this quilt was received back as well!  Hurrah!!!!Rosie is inspecting it.
This is a pitiful picture, but super fun.  This is a new string quilt!!  My friend Pam, who passed away this last year, long ago gifted me with a bag of scraps and strings.  These are the very last bit of that bag.  It will be a Chinese coin quilt, with a twist!

Hope you are having a great day today!

Your shoofly blocks look really cute with the colorful alternate blocks. It really amps up the scrappy look. Congrats on reaching the binding stage on those two beautiful quilts. Nice that your waste triangles are no longer waste but now part of a striking little quilt. Sandy at sewhigh.blogspot.com

Great work in the wee hours! I love all of them. Like the Shoo-fly with the HST's. Also love the one you just got back with the gold stars. Very cheery :-)

As always, lots of inspiration from you. I'm using up my scraps as fast as I can! Stay safe, my friend~

Girl, what are you doing up in the middle of the night? You need rest to stay healthy!

Really love the colors in the small quilt. My fave setting for the shoo fly blocks is the diagonal. It really shows them off!

Oh, that sweet little pinwheel quilt makes my heart sing. :)
I especially love the first setting of your leader/ender blocks.
So exciting to have a quilt ready to bind--almost across the finish line! Beautiful quilts--the Dresden really caught my eye.
Using up every last string from your friend--that will be a special quilt.

I like the 2nd setting, with all the colors. Nice quilts you got back. Lots of creativeness.

So wonderful to see what you're up to in your sewing room!
Thanks for the inspiring ideas for the Shoo Fly blocks. I know I don't want them side by side but wan't sure how else to join them.
The string pieces are awesome... can't wait to see what you have in mind for those!
Enjoy your binding... very pretty finish!

Rainbow quilts update

I pulled out this quilt top and finally put borders on it!!  Hurrah!!!  It is my own creation of plaid strings and applique hearts.   Luck...
