And a little more progress

I got this trimmed and added borders to this little quilt.  The original 1930's block is quilt fragile, to I will be glad when quilting and backing will protect this a little.  Interesting to think that these original fabrics in the star are 80 years old!  I am linking to Kathy, here and to Cynthia, here!

Please click on the links and go see that everyone is up to!!!

Have a super day,

Your little quilt is beautiful. I love that those pretty fabrics are so old. I love that you have given them new life, to be enjoyed once again.

A very happy quilt. Are you planning to use in as a wall hanging or a table topper, or am I wrong in assuming you are keeping it?

The borders are perfect for the block, perfect colors and I like the way you added them. Good for you for finding a way to preserve this block.

That is absoutely ADORABLE-- and, yes, made even better by those fantastic vintage fabrics. I love it.

This certainly is a pretty little star, and at 80 years old is still looking good. Wondering if this is this a family piece, or did you buy it?

Happy New Year, full of plans and promise!!

Good morning!!  Happy Sunday, or Monday to those in Australia and other places in the world! Above is my Amaryllis.  This is the second stem...
