Well, I was just thinking, and that always gets me in trouble, LOL!
What if I arranged the blocks into a rainbow type setting? Any suggestions? I know that some blocks are placed side by side that should not be...but is this better than yesterday's option?
Have a good sewing day!!

lol it's the what if..... thoughts that do it! Another possibility is start at a corner and work your way across diagonally with the colors. Looking forward too seeing what comes next!
Ahhhh...I liked yesterday's random placement.
Yesterday was really pretty.
I prefer yesterday's layout, but it's YOUR quilt- do what pleases YOU.
that is a tough one...but I also like yesterday's random setting...hugs, Julierose
I liked yesterday's because it reminded me of multicolored cake/cookie sprinkles. Another option might be a sort of Trip Around the World arrangement starting with the pinks and reds in the center, working your way out with the oranges, yellow, greens and ending with the blues in the four corners.
Oh wow! Love the rainbow look. Very striking. Just think it needs a slightly better flow which hah, don't have a clue how to tell you to get there. Maybe check out Lynne at https://patcherymenagerie.blogspot.com/. Don't have to go back very far to find a couple posts where she's working on a diamond quilt with multiple colors. Some of her efforts look okay, some looked good and then she nailed it with a fantastic flow. Good luck! The blocks are awesome.:)
I agree with Sue...lay the colors out diagonally. With that said, I do love the scrappy look of the previous layout too! :0)
I like th rainbow layout better. It makes all the groups of colors pop and is a fun new idea for you.
Since you're asking, I like yesterday's layout better. But then, I like scrappy quilts better and random better than planned. Have fun putting it together. Thanks for sharing.
YES! On the rainbow layout!!! Beautiful!
If thinking gets you into trouble, questions people ask me get me into a wild ride in my prodigious imagination. So, here goes. Second picture is better because it almost look like a sunrise. I would (and that's really me and I have no copyrights on this but if you want to pass my suggestion, please feel free to do so.) So, I would take the purple ones and mixed them with the pink ones on the upper right corner going towards the middle of the top edge. Bring the orange and red closer to the yellow and above it too, on the left side. It will look like the sun rising in the middle of the left edge with sky colors above and in front of it. The green and blue will represent the grass and the river running through the backyard of your log cabin summer retreat. :^D (I did warn you! I do have a wild and vivid imagination, lol) Whatever you decide, it will be lovely, I'm sure. Just enjoy the process. ;^) P.S. Two light blocks or two dark blocks should never touch said no one ever. :^D
These are fabulous blocks - you can't go wrong!
I love yesterday’s, but love the colors wheel look, too. A lot of help, right?
Any way you put them together, they will be beautiful. I liked yesterday's randomness, but today's groupings look very nice, too. Is there yet a third option roaming around your head?
I kind of like the rainbow version!
If you are looking for a modern/different layout, these fit the bill.
Me .... I prefer yesterday's layout. It is your quilt ..... So do what you prefer. Oh, decisions, decisions! LOL. Whatever you do, have fun!
I think the quilt will be beautiful no matter the layout, but I prefer yesterday’s. I didn’t notice how high the percentage of blue blocks was in yesterday’s picture!!
I do like this, but I like yesterday’s layout better.
I think the rainbow placements are fun, but I tend to go with scrappy layouts myself. Anything you do with them will make a fantastic quilt.
Thinking always gets me in trouble too!! I am in love with the soft, color-wash gradation-type of rainbow setting. Whatever you choose to do, though, it will be
utterly fantastic!
Oh my, I love the layouts you show today. You could easily do this like one of Wanda Hanson’s colorwash quilts on her Exuberant Color blog. I think it would work very well with these blocks.
Have ever visited the blog Exuberant Color? She makes color wash quilts. All your little blocks reminded me of the fabrics she uses to create her masterpieces.
I am loving the comments on this blog post!
I learn so much from reading the ones that explain what they prefer and why they like certain options.
I am having the same dilemma with my similar blocks... what layout?!?!
Having said that, I have nothing to offer! LOL I like them all and that is no help to you or to me!
The good news is... there's no wrong answer!
