Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to everyone!!  I have been pondering about hand quilting.  I took out this quilt, and was going to use pink flannel on the back.  Alas, I did not have enough of it for the backing, so I used it for borders!!!
It is a subtle plaid check, and it is pink.  Love, love for me!!
I am doing a impromptu quilt block swap with some local quilting friends.  Here are my ten blocks to swap.  All blocks will be different, as the only rule is to make the block 8 inches finished and to use blue...wonder what I will get back?  There are ten swappers...and I don't know how many months this will run.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EACH OF YOU!!!

Julie

I did one of the circle quilts and think it's assembled but beyond that, no clue! I did find a quilt with binding attached but not stitched so that's how I ended my exciting year... You are brave to do swaps. I did several in the long ago past, online swaps, etc. My blocks are nowhere perfect but DANG, some of the stuff I got back was not even usable. I also have collected blocks from others for use in donation quilts--ack, not an easy venture.

Happy New Year! Blue and white are pleasing colors for a quilt. Have fun with the swap.

Happy New Year to you, dear Julie! It's going to be a good one! Just wait and see. Yes, the pink borders are perfect for that quilt. Smart move! Use it up! What fun, a block swap. I've never participated in one. My hang up is the postage when it's an online swap. I need to get over that! LOL. XO
