Working on this right at the moment...

My hospital quilt group, of which I am the only one left working at the hospital, is making the quilt below.  Here is my center block.  These quilts are to be donated to a veteran's group.
I am a little in love with this pattern!  So versatile and fun...you can make it bigger or smaller...I just love it.  I am cutting pieces out for the rest of the quilt this week.

Log Cabin loonies is coming up!

Love the quilt. I looked up the pattern booklet and they have it for the bargain basement price if $784.00 😳

What a lovely pattern! I just found it on Amazon for that crazy price but there's one on Etsy for about $15. I'm so glad to hear you are still quilting with your group...even though they've all abandoned you for retirement ;-) I had lunch with my previous co-workers yesterday. Two are still hanging in there but they say it is sure crazy there.

Great star blocks and birdies. Sorry, I'm way behind on my blog reading, so, commenting on several posts at once.

Oh, I love that pattern, too! I bought it so long ago, and every now and then I see someone making it and wonder why I haven't made it yet.
Are you doing it all r/w/b?

Love your block AND the pattern. I really need to organize my sewing time better so I can accomplish as much as you!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
