Tiny Tuesday

Today, I added the tiny blocks above, to the owl...little bitty blocks but big fun!
I am finishing this quilt top...needs a border and then quilting.  All plaids...all flying geese...all flying north!  I still have not decided what to put in the streak of "plain" blocks I added as a lark...some ideas, perhaps, friends?

Have a super day!

Julie

Your little blocks are adorable and I love the geese quilt. You're a brave woman to put together so many geese! Perhaps a quote about "going north" or flying in formation or something that could apply both to the geese, but also life?

Gorgeous aqua blocks. Love your geese quilt. At the moment, the geese are here. I so love them. What about the white streak? Sometime silence is golden. I would just leave it and let people talk whatever about it. Maybe just quilt it the same as the geese, or some wavy lines to represent air but nothing to define, just to keep people guessing. Anywho! That's my attitude. Whatever you do, I know it will look great. Enjoy! ;^)

Love both projects! Real geese are flying north here lately. I made my Flying Geese quilt in Fall colors but I think I may need a spring version too. Yours are like springtime rainbows!

Applique some flying geese flying off at that angle.

Oh, those tiny blocks are calling to me. So sweet, Julie. :)
Love those plaid geese!! Such a fun top. You have received some great suggestions for what to put in the streak of white. Can't wait to see what you choose to do.

Quilt in some geese flying in the same direction -- this will be the snow geese flying with the flock.

Maybe applique some flying geese flying south? "Doin' their own thang"?

I agree with Chantal about the white streak in upper left - looks interesting in that sea of geese. Perhaps you can expand on that feature in some way. It's a labor of love! Elaine Adair

Love your geese quilt- I like the unpredictability of what could be put in the white space! So many options!!

A finish

Hi everyone!  I have been kind of obsessed about finishing this jacket.  I used a lot of scraps!!!  Above you can see the large, angled patc...
