Karen and I are making Dawn Heese's "Farm House Sampler" quilt. We are on block two, already! Karen and I are showing our blocks on the 15th of the month. Above is my block for this month. I changed the leaves somewhat; I find that I fiddle around with patterns here and there, playing with pieces! I very much enjoy appliqueing these fun, large blocks. They are 20 inches, finished.
Here are my two large blocks together.
Please see Karen's blocks here!

Your blocks are just lovely--nice work ~ ~ ~ Julierose
Yay, Julie! Another month done. I liked the easy curves on the flowers this time. I hope you are enjoying the sew!
I love seeing these blocks in such different colors. Karen's are more medium blends and yours are happy and bright! You are both doing such lovely work. A lovely way to enjoy your friendship! Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to sew with Karen 'for reals'! I would love to meet her someday.
Your applique is beautiful! Aren't you glad you have something so special to relax with in these days of chaos? You'll have enough pretty blocks for a quilt before this mess is over.
(Actually, I hope it doesn't last that long!) Anyway, it let you rest while making such a treasure. .. ---"Love"
I just came from Karen's blog. It is fun to see how different the same pattern looks under the hands of two different stitchers. You have some very happy colors going on here. Love it. :)
Your applique blocks are so sweet. 20 inch blocks helps to get the stitching done. It's nice you and Karen are encouraging each other.
That's a great size block. These two look good together. See you in June. =)
Nice blocks.
Gorgeous blocks! I have been tempted, but I must stay focused on my UFO's!
Very pretty Julie! I am considering purchasing the pattern for 2021.......Hugs
Beautiful blocks Julie!
