Getting closer, at least, to some finishes!! The above quilt is my answer to nine patches done in an exchange last year...I just have to hand sew down the binding and that's it! Oh, yes, and the label...the binding is scrappy, so I can use up what I have.
I changed the border...but kept the pink of sheer obstinacy!! A little girlie is OK, right?? This one is ready to hand quilt, after sandwiching...
And my header quilt!! About time it got quilted, don't you think? I love the non-planned look...love this string thing!!!
Have a great day, everyone!!!

Oh my! Julie, I'm drooling LOL!!! Your quilts are heavenly! The 9-patch is sensational, no other word for it and the quilting design is just perfect! (maybe I should start making little 9-patches with left overs! - what size are they?) Love the pink border on the second one! I really think scrappy make the best quilts! You really are powering on at the moment!!!
Oh my goodness what amazing workmanship!!! And would you look at that quilting? Sheesh. There's real quilters beauty going on here my friend, real talent. Serious talent. I'm so taken with this incredible display!!! Julie, you really know how to take my breath away...
All three quilts are stunning!! Just S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!!!

Take a deep bow because all of these quilts are fabulous. Bravo!
Love what you did with your nine patch blocks. They look great in the churn dash...made it so interesting. And the other 2 are simply divine :-) You've got some good movie time ahead to get those both quilted. Lovely quilts!
I have TOTALLY stolen your churn dash nines! LOL My club did an exchange -- but they are whopping 6-inchers :-D. Still they'll make nice 12" blocks. I have enough of the 9's to do about 7 quilts! :-D
Love the Plaid Obsession, love the jewel box! You just don't do ugly at all!!
Blessings,
Mary Lou
Three wonderful quilts! Thanks for the eye candy.
Love them all! I will always be a scrap quilt girl at heart and yours are amazing.
3 fabulous quilts! You rock!
Love them all, but your header quilt is my favorite. I love plaids and the pattern you used really shows them off.
I can't choose a favorite, I love them all.
I just love all of these beauties! I'm in love with the cheddar cornerstones on the churndash....fabulous! And the jewelbox is beautiful! Of course, I'm totally copying your plaid scrappy masterpiece....I've loved that header since I first saw it!
What a great post....tons of inspiration! Thanks so much!
3 gorgeous quilts!
Gorgeous scrappiness in each one! Girlie quilts are just fine: you're a girl, aren't you? Congrats on so much quilty goodness you've been up to. I've got my nine patches out to play with too, they are my next UFO project due this month in Judy's Challenge.
Love all of them! But especially the 9 patch. Scrappy quilts are just the best!
Please keep Plaid Obsession as your header -- I made that quilt and gave it away so I like to revisit it each time I come to your blog!! It really is a great pattern... And I especially love your little jewel boxes...it makes me want to pull out those little scraps....
