Little blocks!

I made some tiny blocks today, three inches finished size.
It started like this...on my counter top.
But really, it started like this!    I challenged myself to make all the blocks from this basket of scraps.  I found myself picking out the red, white and blue fabric scraps and made the blocks from them.

*********************Nurse's Notes**********************

Some good things:  We now have a rapid test solution for the Covid suspected patients.  We received two patients from the emergency room with fever and pneumonia, but their tests were negative.  We have a total of seven nurse who have quit/gone to other places, now.  We have very few patients, because all elective surgeries are cancelled, to save equipment and PPE for covid patients.  So on we go...stay home, wash your hands and pray for a quick end to all of this!

It's scary. I had the flu and pneumonia in February. I didn't think about it back then, but the doctor kept asking me if I had any trouble breathing (no, thank goodness). Still, it make you wonder, since not everyone has all the symptoms. Stay healthy. I probably won't be working again until May, since my home health care client's wife is in health care (non-essential) and doesn't have any work right now. Hard for them, since she is the breadwinner for the family.

What a relief to have a speedy test for the virus. Testing is still restricted here to those who meet protocol. Love the little blocks! Stay safe.

YIKES. Fewer nurses? Good thing there are fewer patients...maybe.

Are you doing the Temecula little sewing along, staying home?
I'm doing it also. Love that the blocks are not complicated and go together fast!

Stay safe!

The basket of scraps looks interesting. I don't have very many scraps right now. Most have been moved to a friend's house. We cut parts for quilt blocks from some but have many more to use in the future but no hurry to do it.

How are you getting so many quilt blocks made with working so much?

Lovely little blocks....or maybe Terrific Tiny blocks ;-)
It's fun how you work on batches of blocks.
I hope you're seeing some leveling off with this illness. Our county seems to add 3-4 everyday but only about 2-3 in the hospital at a time. Thank God for the speedier test!
My former boss contacted me the other day...about sewing machine repair :-) ...and said the hospital had PPE for the staff but the office people were wearing the home sewn ones to save the rest for those caring for patients. So I'm headed to the market and will hand out the ones I've sewn to whoever needs one. I went for a blood draw this morning and people still were showing up without masks on. Fortunately, they handed them one as it was a tiny office. The bigger market Albertson's won't let people in the store without a mask and had signs reminding about social distancing all over the store. They had also fixed the check out counters to ensure the space needed. It was great to see they weren't leaving anything to chance as so many are just ignoring the need.
Still praying for you everyday. Hope the shorter hours aren't hurting you...or the longer, busier days either for that matter. It's quite a mix for you wearing all the different hats of the hospital. Hope you won't have to help out in the kitchen as well ;-o

Cute little blocks!!

Let's hope the downward trend stays!! Too bad there is still so much crap going around that mimics THE virus- glad they were negative though.

Hello, I am Theresa Williams After being in relationship with Anderson for years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to my friend and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem. His email: {drogunduspellcaster@gmail.com} you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or any other Case.
