Light blues and masks

More masks.  I like making them as pretty as I can.  This batch is going to neighborhood ladies.
Four more blocks were completed today.
And one of these blocks, too.

What did you do today?

Hugs from Julie!

So nice of you to make masks for the neighborhood. I finished my latest little batch this morning and got them all in the mail for distant family members. My old clunker Singer 301 needs some serious TLC before I attempt another batch.

I’ve got some of those blocks with the little star. Our little group is taking a little breather then 2 more places picked out as our next recipients. Have you had a couple of days off? Hope so.

I finished a mystery QOV and made some four-patch blocks from scraps today during a FaceTime call with my sister and niece.

I worked on both my Buhl quilt and the Libertyville quilt. But technically that was yesterday. I am having trouble sleeping tonight.

Oh, please tell me if you have a pattern for the pinwheel blocks! I have seen a quilt but can't find a pattern. I guess if I were really smart I could come up with a size for the HSTs and do it myself, but if there's a pattern......
I like your blue colors too.

You're a busy lady; blessed to be a blessing to others. Thanks for sharing your time with us too, we love to see what you're working on all the time!

Lovely new blocks! And your masks really are pretty! Your co-workers are going to be appreciative. I have depleted my elastic after getting the final 5 yards from another quilter. However, I am stocked with some t shirts now to make some yarn to use with masks.
I am so happy you are still finding time to sew :-) Praying for you continually!

I'm cutting out more masks. Illinois' shut down is now extended till the end of May, and anyone that can't social distance must wear a mask (ages 2 and up). My neighborhood kids need more masks. Hopefully they will be finished and distributed before Friday (date masks must be worn).

A large tree fell over with a mighty crash, half a block from our home.  We are all grateful that it fell toward the street!  If you can zoo...
