And then there were two! And a wee rainbow quilt, too!

I had half square triangles left over from another big block, so I have now made two of these quilts.  The colors and look of each quilt is so different.  I love using scraps that were destined for the trash bin!
And speaking of tiny scraps; remember all those bow ties I cut out from last post?  Leftovers from that cutting binge were these tiny pieces, finishing 1/2 inch by 1 inch.  I was tossing them, when I figured out they were mostly (some were wonky) the same size.  So I made this rainbow quilt.  Teeny pieces for sure!!

How are you doing, each of you?  Hanging in there?

Hugs from Julie

Your rainbow scrap quilt is just divine! Super good here in Australia where we have been in stay at home mode for a couple of weeks, and my hubby has always worked from home so quite well adjusted. Take care.

I am trimming a bunch of tiny (1.5") cutoff bonus HSTs, trying to decide how to use them. How big are your little quilts?

Your small quilts are lovely. I just trimmed a bunch of HSTs, so I may borrow your idea. Worked on a mystery QOV today.

The little pinwheels are so pretty, and the little rainbow quilt is amazing! How on earth can you hold those tiny pieces and make them do what they are supposed to do? I just could not do that, but your result is really pretty. Hope you are staying safe! ---"Love"

Your pinwheel quilts are adorable, but I must say your little rainbow quilt is breathtaking! I love working with leftovers, too. :)

I'm amazed at how much you're getting done while you're working in the middle of this healthcare crisis. Praying you'll stay safe and well. I'm still making masks....

I love turning trash into wee treasures too!
Love that rainbow... maybe a pot of gold should be appliqued at the bottom of the rainbow :)
Actually all we want right now is for COVID19 to be stopped in it's tracks.... we don't need the gold.

Your little rainbow mini was an excellent way to rescue those scraps from the trash, Julie. Good save!! (Now, I want to go do some extreme scrap quilting, too.)

I really like the gold and blue block (I'm not a fan of pink or pastels, sorry). I'm just making face masks right now. I really need to get this last batch finished so that I can make some baby quilts (one of the babies is already here, and 3 more are due in the next 6 weeks).

Hexies, rainbow quilts and plaids!

Good morning to all!!!  Above is a hexagon, for English paper piecing.  My kitten Lucky has discovered them, and decided that they are great...
