Your block is quite nice. Did you applique each diamond down or did you piece the tumbling blocks and then applique them down? I hand pieced the diamonds into the tumbling blocks and then did applique of them as a whole.
Great fabrics Julie! I found the placement tricky until I realised there was a star shape in the middle. I've still got some catching up to do so I don't feel that I'm on the home stretch yet.

This is a really clever design, but it would totally intimidate me. You did very well!
Its a cute block, but I don't see the star that much.
