I am supposed to post on February 30th.

Here is my Dearest Boy block for February 30th.  Due to calendar constraints of there being NO February 30th...I am posting it now, LOL!    I drafted it myself, made old fashioned templates out of a cereal box, like my mom and grandma did, and pieced it.  So there  you are!!!
Here are my blocks so far, for the Dearest Boy project.  Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!  I cannot wait to make the Cow block in the center!!

Please see these bloggers, who are working on the same quilt.

Have a super day, everyone!

One of the ladies in my quilt group always made her tamplates from cereal boxes. Obviously worked for you. I look forward to the cow block too. Cathy says she wants to do that block last.

Nice job on the block. My Mom used to use cereal boxes for templates, too--but not grandma, 'cause she didn't quilt.
Wonderful display of your blocks. I had no idea a cow went in the center. How fun! Looking forward to seeing that!

Even with the calendar trying to crunch your work, you did an excellent job with this block. It will be a gorgeous quilt. ;^)

Great job on that block! Just think how much fabric money you saved by making your own templates! *giggle* Bet it made you feel really good to get it done so well. It is beautiful. ---"Love"

That looks like a fun quilt to make.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
