I have added the bottom row on the "Sweet Land of Liberty" quilt, with Lori of Humble Quilts. This is a Cherie Payne design, but since I did not have a pattern, it has become a rogue quilt! I had to add one more cabin on the bottom row...one of these days, I would like to live in a log cabin in the big woods, so I just had to add it! All the piecing is pretty much done. I still have that big empty spot up on the left, but it will fill in soon, I am hoping. When the elves come at night, you know...did you ever read that children's book, about the cobbler and the elves? When the cobbler was asleep, the elves would mend his shoes that were taken in by day.
Sounds like a good thing to me, except they can work on my quilts!!!
My most productive time is in the mornings, early, so I am really trying to use that time for sewing, along with the housework stuff.

Boy do I need those elves here.
Oh i remember that story, too; This is an absolutely gorgeous quilt...I love how you've made it your own...hugs, julierose
Lovely quilt. Too bad for that empty spot. You know my offer still hold. Just tell me the size of that spot and I'll send you some liberty drawing. No obligation. You can say to any or all my drawings. It's still the same price. A simple prayer will do. ;^)
Your blocks are proof that an actual pattern isn't needed to make a quilt uniquely yours. I love what you've created.
Love the cabin in the forest!! What a good idea...now I want a forest! Your quilt is turning out so well..I'm looking forward to seeing all the new additions.
It is really pretty, with so many interesting blocks! You've done a great job! ---"Love"
Your quilt looks fantastic! Great work!
A rogue quilt--hmmm, I like that! LOL
It looks fantastic, Julie!
I have tried to entice those elves for years. There is more than one reason I keep dark chocolate in the sewing room. But so far they have kept their distance. Maybe they would prefer milk chocolate?
For a rogue quilt, it’s quite fabulous! I’m an early morning pieces, too! I accomplish more in the mornings than I do the rest of the day!
Love all the changes you have made to this quilt to make it your own. So beautiful! It looks like the bottom row has the most changes(?).
I so love your Land of Liberty quilt. It's really beautiful. Hugs
You created an awesome, one of a kind, creative quilt, an expression of yourself and dreams.
It really has turned out so nice and uniquely yours!!
I love your "rogue" quilt! Quilting for many years has some advantages - it is possible to make blocks without a specific pattern! I was thinking about doing that to make this quilt, but I just haven't had time to do it. Maybe someday.
