If you have been hanging out with me for a while, you recognize these quilts. I made the tiny flowers first, but then enlarged the patterns to make the larger quilt.
Lots more work to go!! I do love this one, and it deserves a finish!!
This one just needs to be quilted.
Log Cabin Loonies!!
I have really enjoyed seeing all the log cabin quilts you have made...I am thinking that with the holidays coming, and flu season coming (read lots of hours of work at the hospital), that this will be the last of the Loonie posts for a while. I have made a TON of progress on my log cabin quilts...nothing done to actually show, but lots of cutting and sewing, etc!! Your quilts have all inspired me!!
So...link up below, and I have a fabric tower to give away, as the last gift...for now, LOL! By the way? I have given away a lot of fabric from my stash...which was one of the primary intentions, anyway...to share with all of you.

I do remember these beautiful quilts. They deserve to come out and brighten your day again. So pretty!
I hope you will get some relaxing time, too, during the holiday/fly season.
Thank you so much Julie for doing the Log Cabin Loonies again! I have enjoyed making more log cabin blocks and I never get tired of making them. Such fun to see what everyone else is making too! AND I always enjoy following you and reading your blog!
I love your two versions of Calico Garden, I would love to make one myself one day...sigh.
Gosh, I love applique! Such beautiful quilts! Wish I had the patience, ~sigh~
Gorgeous, gorgeous applique!
Thanks so much for hosting log cabin loonies! I was inspired to dive into a huge bag of scraps and now I have a nearly-finished top and several ideas for more log cabin quilts to use up all those little scraps. It's been a lot of fun!
You inspired me with cutting strips to sew log cabin blocks and I love that you coined the phrase log cabin loonies so we will always be here working away on them when we can. Yes indeed busy times ahead which is why I never mind January and February months to sew at my leisure, Hope it’s a mild flu and illness season, I just got my shot yesterday so I was a little later than usual for me.
Happy Friday, Kathy
Love how you are adding leaves to the sashing.
WOW! What ambition!! Beautiful quilts!!
I loved being a part of Log Cabin Loonies! I have been working on a UFO, but I will continue to make more log cabin blocks, as time permits. Thank you Julie, your blog is an inspiration
and your quilts are beautiful. The applique quilt in the post is amazing.
