A quilt top finish

Forgive the streak of sunshine across this finished quilt top...but it is finished!!  Whoop!!  I added some silly things to the border...one fabric just seemed to make it dark and off looking, so scrappy is always the answer to life's questions...maybe?  LOL!!  This one is on my list to get done, and is mostly blocks from Moda Blockheads quiltalong of last year.

I cannot thank you enough, every one who commented on last post.  It really helped, because I was working through Google to fix my comments, which were not coming through to my email.  With each intervention I tried, I could see if what I was doing worked or not, based on your comments coming in.    So I really appreciate you!!  Chantal and Cheryl and many others tried to help, but finally I got it to working...I am not really sure how.  I went to comments and had to add myself to the list of contacts, and then instructed blogger to email comments to that email address.

Goodness!  I was just about ready to throw in the proverbial towel!!!

If you read some of the comments about how long each of you has been quilting...wow!  What a lot of very experienced and awesome quilters we have!  I am so grateful for each of you!

Julie,

I hope you read this.
I follow you through bloglovin'
To comment on your work, which I would love to do, I have to sign into another "link"...ugh, I cannot think of the right word!
Meaning, I have to sign out of bloglovin and sign into your blog then leave a comment.
hence, I rarely leave messages for you.

I too am a nurse, an oncology nurse. Currently a nurse manager for an inpatient oncology unit in Illinois.
So connect with your messages.
keep up the posts
they are appreciated

The comments problem is so frustrating. I’m not able to leave comments even when I’m signed in to Google. It’s very annoying—if I hit Preview to make sure I’m signed in, my comment disappears. If I’m redirected to sign in, my comment disappears. On some blogs I show as signed in and can just hit Publish, but not always !

Good grief, I never would've gotten that fixed! I have no patience..maybe why I don't quilt as much anymore! Ugh..every time my bracelet or necklace would get tangled, I'd have to hand it off to DH as I'd get so frustrated. Can't do that anymore! You really do get TONS done, don't know how though! Pretty!

Cute top! I saw you had 52 comments so I really didn't see a need to add mine.

Lovely top - I really like the little basket with the flower in it and the scrappy border (I agree that scrappy is the answer to almost every problem too).

Hi everyone!  I have been kind of obsessed about finishing this jacket.  I used a lot of scraps!!!  Above you can see the large, angled patc...
