Happy Summer!  Just a bitty quilt for today.  Have a wonderful day, on this hot summer day!  The sunflowers are growing with wild abandon along the roads!!

My housework fits around the stitching- ha! I love reading your blog Julie and am full of admiration for the amount you get done. It's hot here too in my little corner of North East England so I'm only doing little things. Snuggling under a quilt will have to wait until cooler days.

Sunflowers are cheerful flowers. They are plentiful along the country roads in my area.

What a cute little sunflower you made! Can you believe I left three tall sunflowers, full of blooms, in my rose garden yesterday when I finished cleaning out all the weeds and grass? I love sunflowers. I'm sure the first one a couple of years ago came from bird seed, and more have come up each year. Who knows---when the roses finish dying out, I just may have a solid sunflower bed outside my sunroom windows. Not a bad idea, you think? ---"Love"

I try to do house cleaning on a Saturday, but...sometimes I also think that I have to finish something I am sewing! This cleaning takes a lot of will power!!
