Might as well start something new!

This is something new!  It is called "Miss Jump's Tea time, and it is a quilt along, on Facebook, with Lorraine Hoffman.  I am a little in love with the rickrack and the bright colors!!!

At first, I thought the rickrack was to go right on top of the heart...but I think it looks better with a little space in between the heart and the rickrack.   This was my initial attempt.

Hearts...plaids...bright colors...flowers!!  Love, love, love!!!
Pat Sloan is have a "Space" quilt along...so I made the first block.  I had some leftover pieces and parts, so I made pinwheels and chevrons with the leftovers.
Meeting House quilts is have a quilt along, too!!  So...I made these blocks to start in on that one!!! Nothing like tons of starts for the new year!  These are eight inch blocks.
And Angela, at Super Scrappy, is making a fun rainbow quilt this year...all tiny blocks!  So, here are my five inch blocks.

Fun, fun, fun!!!

Someone had fun with her sewing machine. Whoohoo! Love the "space" block. Love blue plaids. Miss Jump's Tea Time is the winner though. That is the most adorable little block! I agree, the rickrack looks better with a little space from the heart. Awesome projects you have. Enjoy them all! ;^)

Looks like you're having fun! I agree that the rickrack needs to be set off from the heart. I haven't looked for any QAL this year, but maybe I'll find a good mystery QAL later.

Oh, my goodness, Julie--are you running for Quilt-along Queen this year? LOL
The Tea Time block is really sweet.
The plaids in the space block give a great effect!
Love the little kitty blocks!

The blue star block is my favorite of what you have shown in today's post.

Here I am again, adding another comment because I don't know how to contact you otherwise. Either your blog, or mine, has a problem, and I don't know how to fix it. The comments from Rose Marie and Karen, (above) both came to my e-mail. Any idea how to fix it? ---"Love"

You've been busy. The hardest part for me is choosing the fabrics and getting them cut. If someone else did that part, I'd have lots of time to sew the blocks.

Lots of things going on!

Good morning, or evening to you!!!  I have been sewing pouches of different sizes, and I enjoy filling them with different things and giftin...
