Sweet Land of Liberty

Here is my progress on the Sweet Land of Liberty quilt.
It is in three sections, here.  I still have lots of hand work to do, so I am leaving it in pieces until I finish that, and then the bottom pieced block border is yet to be accomplished.  Making tracks on it, though!!!

Whew!  Days off are lovely, aren't they?  I have laundered and cleaned and changed sheets and cooked...and on it goes...but it is on my pace, and I love it!!!

Days off are the best... except for today, which involves dental work and no quilting... UGH!

I was noticing the "freedom" in your quilt and thinking I hadn't remembered that in the blocks. Then I read the comments and saw Karen's mention of it. If that is your original touch, it is a very effective one.
Sounds like you don't waste a minute of your day off!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
