Great job Julie. I love the circle in the negative space. Are they pieced or appliqued? It makes is more fun. Love it. ;^)

I like the way you added the little extra by putting circles in the middle of the blank spaces. Nice job. Thanks for sharing. cindy

I was on the fence about making one of these quilts. Then you added the circles (how?) and now it in on my ever expanding bucket list of scraps quilts. Many inspired by you! Thanks for sharing.

The addition of those circles makes all the difference, Julie. I made a String-X a few years ago and while I like it, I'm not thrilled with it mostly because of the "blank" white squares. I wish I'd thought to add circles like yours (or even corner triangles to create squares).

This is looking wonderful. So did I miss the answer about the little circles and how you added them? Were they appliquéd?

Lots of things going on!

Good morning, or evening to you!!!  I have been sewing pouches of different sizes, and I enjoy filling them with different things and giftin...
