Gratitude

Hi all:

A wonderful thing happened to me today. I went rushing off to work...too fast. Apparently I dropped my little card case out of my purse...with my debit card, insurance card, and driver's license. I did not notice it was gone until this afternoon...and searched all over work for it. I got home, and my dear husband said, "Are you missing something?" A kind person, I probably will never know who, had apparently found the card case outside the house by my car, I guess, and put it in my mailbox. Now in this world of identity theft and bad stuff...someone did this very kind thing for me. I am full of gratitude and a little bit of shock...and so full of gladness.

I like to believe that most people are honest and trustworthy. I am glad one of THEM found your card case.

I am not surprised because YOU are such a kind, warm-hearted and delightful soul something this GOOD would naturally happen to you. I get to say this since we did spend quality time together and all. :)

I'm glad the cards were returned to you. Maybe it was a neighbor out for a walk who saw them and did that for you?

There truly are good people in the world...we only hear the bad stuff for some reason. Thankfully yours was a good story to share!

Aww, how nice! The only thing you can do is pay it forward. Oh, wait, this is payback for all the nice stuff you already do!

Isn't it wonderful to know that the good people are still out there *S*

It's wonderful to know that good things can happen to amazing people! We need to be able to believe in that hope.

I'm sitting here, sipping my hot cuppa...just visiting my bestest blogging friends. ;-) Work will wait.

I won't comment on every post that I've missed...but I'm loving what you're up to! ;-)

Hugs to you, Jules!

Same thing happened to me... except my neighbor took over $400 out of my wallet before giving it back to me. I'm grateful my identity didn't get stolen but still... grr.

Such a blessing - it makes one feel good that there is still honesty in the world. Judging from the news, there are NO good people!

Thanks for telling us. 8-))))

I am so glad someone kindly put your cards in your mailbox. Maybe you were meant to lose it just so they could do that nice deed for someone who gives so much to others.

Your ninepatch quilt is very nice - I just love the way you set off the nine patches, and thank you for sharing the story of the grandmother that passed in the hospital. It touched my heart.

Yahoo. I agree. That's great.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
