As many of you know, our friend Terry at Terry's Treasures has had some awful times lately: her husband had his leg crushed in a work related accident, and has had to have the leg amputated and multiple surgeries this past week. Laurie at www.ayankeequilter.blogspot.com has organized a quilt project for Terry. Nine inch quilt blocks are needed (nine and 1/2 inch unfinished). Julie, a great idea...but when I go to that web site it tells me it does not exist...is it me and my machine....web problems or perhaps mistyped the address.
I sent my block today and some of us have included a few dollars to cover any postage Laurie may incur when sending the top to be quilted. The deadline for Laurie to get the blocks is Oct. 25. It's nice that you posted this so maybe more will participate.
