I have no memory of this quilt!

Hmmm.  I was going through the quilt closet to clean, and I found this, rolled up in a yard of white fabric.  I have no memory of making it, but there it is, so I must have.  I recognize all those old fabric pieces from the 80's and 90's and 50's (mom's).  It is definitely pre-blog.

I stalled on it for some reason...wonder why?? Probably a squirrel!!!

If it helps at all, I've been kinda thinking of making one like it! Great use of scraps and not really dated. Yes, please finish it - makes a great story and I bet you can come up with a great name!

Oh man, can I ever empathize!! There have been so many projects and I'm sittin' there scratching my head wondering where and when I might've done this!! And then you start wondering why you put it aside and then the questions and just....no, don't go down that road. HA It's gonna be a beauty whenever you get it done.

Well, at least it shows you are consistent in your style--SCRAPS!! And you always create wonderful things from them. This will be another such creation. Wish there were fun things like that hiding in my closet that I didn't remember making. :)

I almost always get a surprise when I open my "drawer of shame" or look in the "to be layered"
closet--seems like my mind can only remember jut what i am working on at the moment...
This is a pretty QIP--it'll be fun to put it all together...hugs, Julierose

Thanks for the chuckle! Looks like you will be able to finish it as all the pieces are there.

It’s a beauty now, and will be gorgeous when finished.

I really like it--so you must work on it even if it is now and then--and finish it--

I bought a jelly roll on impulse not too long ago, and when it finally came I eagerly opened it for a QAL and I hate it! I have no idea why I bought it. So some day it will appear again as a donation quilt. I think if you finish this one it will be lovely.

Neat project, and perfect to use some scraps.

I find something like that occasionally. I love this block. I hope you finish it into the quilt. =)

You have enough finished to make a couple of table runners if you don't want to finish it. Then use the extra 24 patches for something else.

That's hilarious! But the question is do you like it enough to finish it or should it just go back in the closet?

How I magically used lots of scraps but ended up with even more!!!!

Well, I am making a simple rail fence, for a chemo quilt.  I ended up using a lot of my 2.5 inch scraps strips, and felt rather virtuous, bu...
