Look at that pretty applique! I must confess...it is a printed block. But I thought it was pretty enough to be the beginnings of quilt!!
What are you working on today???

That really is a pretty piece that could easily be made into a very lovely quilt. I've been having fun prepping some things for quilt retreat soon. I'm looking forward to it, and hope I will be able to go --- and stay upright! ---"Love"
I agree...it's very pretty! :0)
It really fooled me, and I like what you have around it so far.
What a neat block...it makes a lovely medallion...hugs from afar julierose
Why not?! I'm working on 3 projects: one is a redirected UFO, one is rediscovered object, and one is a squirrel. Which one I work on is determined by the thread on the machine!
That had me fooled as well! It is a lovely center for your quilt though. You chose some nice setting blocks for it.
I'm sewing some caps, shopping for groceries (which is thankfully much less stressful now that the store is requiring masks!) and walking with my sister :-) It's going to be a good day. Hope yours is too :-)
I really like the way you have framed the printed block. Think of all the historical quilts that we admire so, and many of them start with a printed panel?!
It’s very pretty, especially with the frame you created. I’m sewing binding on a blue batik quilt today that my daughter asked me to make for her, and puttering around the house and yard.
Nice, i tthinnk I have that one too. Today I organized my polka dot fabrics and projects into a bin together.
You fooled me. I thought you had whipped out an applique block zippy do. I have some panels that I think would make a nice feature to have pieced blocks added to it. I purchase them for adding to my quilt backing for a fun surprise.
Looks like a perfect mimi-in-the-making to me!
Oh, I would love to find a cheater like that! I love what you are doing with it. And if you quilt around the "applique" no one will know its a cheater!
It's a terrific beginning of a quilt for sure!
