Embroidery progress, and selling some things.

I have finished the embroidery on this little quilt.  Except for the one blank square, which will be a signature and date square.  I have been sitting in one little corner, slowly and quietly stitching away on this piece.

I am selling some quilt things.  This quilt top is one I always intended to hand quilt, but I guess I will sell it instead.  It is a double wedding ring, as you see.
It is not perfect.  The rings are sewn by machine, and the melons are sewn by hand, at least the ones I saw.  There are a few water marks/stains like this one below, as is often the case with a vintage article.
The edges are ruffled, a bit.
So you do you think it is worth $25.00?  I do know some of the fabric are 1930's originals.

Thank you for your opinion, and if you want it let me know.
The whole thing.

I will be selling all my antique and vintage quilt tops, so stay tuned.

Have a great day,

Julie

Love how your little quilt came out, that is such a fun design. I did up the embroidery so will do those first, then decide on the extra blocks.

The double wedding ring is lovely...... Getting rid of all your old quilts..... Oh no but I guess that's a decision you have to make...... Goodluck.....

Your embroidery added a special touch to your already beautiful log cabin blocks. I really hat to see you get rid of your vintage quilt tops, etc., but I guess just because I choose to keep mine is no reason for you too. I hope you won't be sorry later. Soak that beautiful double wedding ring in some Blue Dawn and Oxiclean about 24 hours, and I'll bet those stains will come out! It worked for me! ---"Love"

That is such a fun beachy/patriotic themed log cabin quilt. Love it!
It is a great DWR top, Julie. I see Katy beat me to it, but I am happy to know it is going to a very good home.

I liked the whale piece before the embroidery, and now I like it even more! Great job.

Funny how we go through stages. When it’s time, it’s time. I’m sure your vintage quilts will all find happy homes. Loving your whale quilt! You have such vision!

Your whale piece was put together quickly. The pattern was given not very long ago. I saved the pattern for future stitching as I thought it was a good one. You did good!

I used to have a collection of vintage quilt tops but sold them many years ago. Nowadays, $25 for a vintage top is a bargain.

Did you sale the double wedding ring quilt top?

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
