Wheww! A day off!!

I have been working a lot, lot, lot!!  I have completed three more blocks for the Splendid Sampler...loving these, and saving all the patterns.

With the days events (the Orlando Shooting), I am thinking I will call this the Splendid American Sampler...my heart is with those poor victims and families, and also with all the healthcare personnel still working to save people.
Log Cabin Loonies!!  If you are a loonie too...here is where I am on my blocks.  Still tapping my foot and sewing along!  Whoop!!!
A few tomatoes from the garden...
And here is my hand sewing for the day...quilting and blanket stitching on the Cheerful quilt!  Loving this!!

I hope each of you has a wonderful day!!

By the way??  Everyone who entered a log cabin quilt on the last full moon, for Log Cabin Loonies?  WON A PRIZE!!!!!

So send me your snail mail addresses, and I will send you a little gift.   Thank you for sharing your lovely work!!

They are beautiful blocks, Julie. What a tragedy in Florida, and how thoughtful of you to rename the quilt.

I'm enjoying seeing your log cabin progress. I would like to start a real scrappy one, but there just isn't enough time for all the quilts I would like to make. Blessings, Gretchen

Your blocks look great. Love red and blue. Wonderful name for a dreadful event. My thoughts and prayers were turned to Orlando too. You are right, we rarely think of all the medical staffs that have to work longer hours, trying to cope with the demands. I will pray for them today. Thanks Julie. Thanks also for the gift. ;^)

Glad to see you had some time to play. I'm trying to finish a leaders and enders project before I start sewing my logs together. I'm almost there.
