Fall Festival quilt!!!

This is my entry is my entry for Amy Blogger's quilt festival for this fall!  This is the first time I have entered anything like this, but I am so very happy to finish this quilt, this year!  It is all hand applique, and all hand quilted.  Most of the fabric is from re purposed shirts from the thrift.  The hearts are my addition to the pattern, which was a free online mystery quilt along by Jeni from the Willow from this year, and her blog is found HERE.

Good choice to enter your sampler quilt. I still haven't completed all the blocks for mine. Too many irons in the fire.

Julie, this is truly a beautiful quilt! It certainly speaks of Fall and of tradition, especially with your use of re-purposed shirts!

You did such a great job with this quilt, Julie. I remember when Jeni published the pattern. I printed all the parts and fully intended on making it, but then I couldn't quite commit to the applique. Seeing yours I now want to pull out the pattern and make one. I haven't seen the results for the Quilt Festival but I hope you won!
