Well, I have a zillion bowties all cut out! I decided to sew a few of them. This is the two inch finished size, which are darling cute when finished. It takes a five and a half inch strip of 1.5 inch wide fabric. Two 1.5 inch squares, and two one inch squares. Just a 1/2 inch left over, but I always like to have a tiny bit extra.
These are the fat quarter for the autumn giveaway, for Binding blitz!! I just cannot get a picture to show you how pretty these batiks are...oh well!
And lookie!! I got a WONDERFUL package in the mail!! Thank you so much, Loris!!
Have a great day, everyone!!

Cute bowtie blocks. I made a bowtie quilt years ago and enjoyed it.
Busy as ever my friend!
Very sweet little batch of bow ties.
Believe me, I can tell how pretty those batiks are! I need to bind something!!
What a fun package from Loris! : )
Two inches bowties! That is too cute. Those batiks are awesome. Did I missed September Binding Blitz? (I know I did missed a few things lately.) Lovely package you got from Loris. Can't wait to see what you will make it. ;^)
Two inch bow ties ... cute, cute, cute. I'm in the midst of EPPing 4" bow ties, but it's a looooong-term project for sure.
This reminds me of a bow tie quilt top I made several years ago. I gave the top away. The bow tie blocks were fun to make. I used prints that looked "manly".
Love your little bow ties coming together. Hope to sew some up myself someday. I think I've got tumblers on the mind first though. My 2" leader/ender squares are seeming a little boring. Enjoy your goodies. I hope there are some good colors in those charm packs for your scrappiness :-)
I have a bunch of bowties ready to put together. What a great idea to just make a small doll quilt! Love yours!!
Those aren't much bigger than bow tie pasta. Super cute. Then along with your new fabric and book, you've had a good sewing week!
Packages are so fun....love the bowties
Great quilt. I've always liked the Bowtie block but have never got around to making a full quilt if them
Those little bowties are like tiny jewels... so pretty!
Aren't those tiny bowties so darn cute?? I have a collection of them going as well. I need to cut some more though, and maybe start sewing some into blocks. Beautiful batiks!
I have a little bow tie all layered and ready to quilt. Maybe I'll get to it this winter.
PS, Love your bow ties too!! Nice win.
