Borders on the plaid!

Thought I would try a picture out on the lawn...I finished the plaid checkered border!  Yahoo!!  My friend Linda O said she made two rounds of the black and white squares, so I did the same.
 Straight shot...
The cotton version of the Primitive Gatherings block of the week.
 A little candle mat...
And some scrappy bindings all ready to go! Oddly enough, those bindings were very satisfying to make.  All bits of other bindings, saved, and now ready to be applied to scrappy quilts.  Love that!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Oh yes, love the border. It is fun, not that the quilt was not fun but... you know I mean. Is it black and white or plaid black and solid white?

That border is great! I have a stash of binding too. Now to actually finish something that needs binding :)

Such a great finishing touch for this plaid beauty!
Another beautiful P.G. block.
I always have leftover bits of binding, but I never think to put them together for a scrap quilt. Won't these look fun on your scrap creations! : )

I adore this border. I have no idea why checkered things draw me in, but they do...and I love this.

Great eye candy today! I save and use my leftover binding for pillowcase trim, but I may have to use it for a scrappy binding, too.

Wow, you just inspired me to do a check border on a paper pieced quilt from the 'Sew Out Loud' quilt along a couple years ago! Your quilt looks great...thanks for the inspiration too!

The quilt looks wonderful with the B&W border! What a good idea to get scrappy bindings ready, I just throw left over bindings in a drawer and it is there if I need some, but it would be a great idea to sew pieces together for a future project too!

I love that checkerboard border!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
