A local quilter, Miriam, made this hat, for me...wow! I get one too? HOW FUN!! I love it, thank you! One for me to keep and wear.
I have many more caps cut out and ready to sew. 22 here in this stack. I cut the elastic also, to be ready to go.
I now have a request to make masks for children, so I will make these this afternoon...school is starting, and one gal at work said she just cannot afford to supply paper masks for her kids over and over, and would I make her masks she could wash? You bet I will!! She is our surgical secretary...

I've been making masks for family and a few friends using Jessie's pattern, and this weekend I made a bunch of scrunchies for my granddaughter, to match some of the masks I've made her. She starts kindergarten soon, but it will be a K-Pod, with a few friends she's been through daycare with the past 5 years, so she won't need as many masks as she does now. I've made some for her teachers, too, but now I'm ready to finish these up and get back to making some Christmas gift bags, and gifts, and finishing some UFOs that have been languishing for years!
