I am not sure where this one came from!!

This was not on my list to get done right now...but somehow, it popped up and demanded to have some sewing done on it!!!  I made these blocks a while back (years) and placed them together last year, then came up with this applique border.
I had been quilting on it, on a road trip, and it was getting frazzled on the edges, so I quilted just enough to hold it together so I could get a scrappy binding on it.  I feel better now, that I can bind it and it will stop frizzling and frazzling!!!  Lots more quilting on it to come!

Happy Monday, everyone!!!

The appliqué border was the perfect choice for this quilt. Well done!

You're happy and the quilt is happy that is not frazzling anymore. Look, its smiling a mile long. So cheerful and soft. Love the border treatment. Excellent job, Julie! ;^)

Hello Julie,
I just did the same with my hexagon sandwich because I was tired of all the threat and lint comming off it.
I like your quilt with the "simple" middle and the nice border added.
Hugs Doris :o)

Sweet spring quilt! Great idea to get the binding on. You can enjoy the hand quilting now without worrying about the edge. I love the border you put on it.

What a nice choice of border using the flowers. I went through quilt tops and UFO's in the quilt closet. So tempting to drop everything and finish one off but too much going on for that.

Always a treat to see this quilt again. It's getting close to a finish!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
