Splendid sampler progress!

The time of reckoning!  I am just really trying to pare down all these projects in progress! Above are my Splendid Sampler blocks. The more I have them out, the better I like them.
I think my favorite block may be this embroidery heart.  It took about as long as all the other blocks combined, LOL!  I am just doing the blocks I love the very best...so the paper piecing ones are at the bottom of the stack...'cause I am just not very good at that!

I hope each of you is having a marvelous day!

I didn't get on the "Splendid Sampler" wagon but I love seeing everyone's blocks. Some blocks I like less than others. You did an excellent job with this project. Love the fabric and the blocks you picked. ;^)

I really like these in the patriotic colors. I'd put the PP blocks at the bottom, as well!

I think that heart makes a very sweet center to this quilt!

Lovely set of blocks: are they going to become a top or are you making more?

I'm not a fan of paper-piecing either.

Why not just do the ones you love best. The blocks are well balanced and the color scheme is crisp and summery. The embroidered block deserves a special spot in the middle.

HA!! You are too hard on yourself! I'll bet the paper pieced ones are just as wonderful as all the rest!

I love what you've done!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
