Circular thinking

I have been working on my circles applique project.  It is hard for me to concentrate effort on one project every day without fail, (one a day), so I prep a bunch and stitch them in the car, on road trips.  Whatever works, right??  Here is where I am...mostly reds and blues, and now a few purples and pinks are creeping in.  These are a little bit addicting!!  I am going through the bins, colorwise, and picking fabrics for circles!
Finished the hand quilting and binding on this little runner.
And a gift from a niece!  These are panels that someone stitched around...
They are so fun and so appreciated!!

Have a great day, everyone!!!

Your circles look good. Are you going to expand into greens, oranges, and yellows, or keep the color scheme you have? It is a nice blend.
Cute little runner. It appears no scrap is wasted in your hands! : )

I am surprised you like to sew the little circles. I mean I know you so don't like to applique. (LOL!!) They are interesting to look at with all their different fabrics, especially the little poodle one. Love your table runner. I always think that table runner have to be complicate. Yours is so simple and yet so pretty. Why can't I keep it simple? I'll have to work on that. Nice presents you got. Love both of them. Enjoy! ;^)

Every time you show those geese, I want to run off and make some. (HOW many projects do I currently have in progress...?)

So many lovely circles. I won't have been able to one a day either. Your strategy was what would have worked for me too.

Your strategy works for me as well. I pick colors every 3-4 days, keep a log of why I picked them, pin them to interfacing and their square and then go around in circles stitching them. I am hoping to finish my yo-yo quilt and beloved Grandmother's Flower Garden, so I'm cheating a bit and blanket stitching them on my machine. For me, it's learning a new skill.

Love your handquilting! It's so beautiful! I'm also hoping to learn to hand quilt on my Quilty 365 rows......we'll see! :)

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
