Log Cabin Loonies!!

Happy Full Moon to all of you Log Cabin Loonies!!  This is an amazing quilt, a quilt of valor,
shared on MyQuiltPlace by Lynn Welton Zimmerman.

I love the differing sizes of the "logs" in this quilt...wonderful!  Lynn's fabric choices are so much fun, and thank you so much for allowing us to showcase your gorgeous quilt!!!

A penumbral lunar eclipse occurred at night on September 16, 2016 in Pekanbaru, Indonesia

Well, my moon pictures lacked a certain something.  Well...they lacked everything...focus, clarity and beauty.  So enjoy this picture of the full moon, instead!!  Please step out and try to see it yourself, too...it is so pretty and there is an eclipse tonight, too!!!

Please link up below, to share your own Log Cabin quilts.  Piles of strips, old quilts, new quilts, quilts in progress...share with us, and let us enjoy your work!!

Have a super night,

Julie

Thank you for hostessing the linky party! I enjoyed viewing the Harvest Moon, but I missed out on any eclipse this time. Thank you also to all of your dear readers who voted for my finished log cabin at the Quiltfest viewer's choice award.

It's Full Moon already? Gosh! Hard to believe. I haven't worked on my log cabin quilt this month, I am sorry to say. I haven't worked on much lately. I really love the quilt you are sharing with us. Its constitution is very interesting and beautifully balanced. I love it! ;^)

I was also taken by surprise that it's the full moon already! I guess I haven't looked out my window lately! I'll be back later to post!

The log cabin quilt is striking in black, white, and red. Good choice.

That is a striking color combo--and I like the different width strips, too.

Thanks for the moon pictures. We had total cloud cover, and couldn't see it at all.

Alas, I didn't get any loggy work done this month... (It's been a crazy month!) I hope to do better before the next full moon, because I've really been enjoying sewing these fun-to-make blocks.
I love the set of that quilt you're showing! Log cabins are so versatile!
