Turning Twenty Monday was yesterday!!!  These were fun blocks to make.  Please see Tricia at Turning Twenty here:

This is part of the Seeing Stars Mystery Quiltalong!!

I made this quilt called Crabapples; a Bonnie Hunter pattern.  This past month, I gave it away to a patient.  She cuddled with it and loved it, so I think it was a great thing!!!  Did any of you make this quilt too???

Have a great day, each of you!!

How sweet of you to gift Crabapples. You are so thoughtful of your patients.
I made the top, but have yet to quilt it.

I've made many of Bonnie's free patterns but Crabapples is not one of these (probably because I did a quilt cruise where Edyta Sitar was one of the teachers and we did her tree quilt). You are extremely generous as I don't think I could give that one away.

I"m in the throes of making this one - but I'm making it with 41 tree blocks. I've done all the piecing of the little squares: that's my favourite thing. Would you believe it stalled with the paper piecing of the trunks and background? I think I've still got about 12 of those to do.

Dear Julie,
the Grabapple Quilt is so wonderful, never saw the layout. Guess have to look it up at Bonnie Hunter's blog.
Love the star blocks, you have made quiet a few for that project already. Bet we get to see something big soon.
Greetings,
Sylvia

I am in the middle of sewing the Crabapples quilt together. I worked on it this morning. It is one of my favorite patterns. You are incredibly kind to give yours away.

The crabapple quilt is definitely on my to-do list. Yours is wonderful and even more wonderful that you shared it with someone!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
