A few more stars are emerging! I found that I had cut this quilt out...twice. I just thought I had one quilt cut out, but found two! So I loving the old and new plaids being combined.
Rosie likes it too...or the warm blocks from the iron!!
This is something entirely new. Audrey from Quilty Folk made the most beautiful scrap quilt this past year. I have been in severe love with it since the moment I saw it!! I had an idea, to use all this shade/shades of fabric to make a scrappy quilt like hers. Here is my start....hmmmmmmmmm we shall see!!
please see her blog right here!!

Aww, I love seeing Rosie enjoying the warm blocks. I like to cuddle items from the dryer so I understand her pleasure.
Well, you can never have too many stars...especially made of plaids :-)
Love the scrappy blueness. That will be a fun quilt.
Hugs to you and Rosie =^.^=
I am loving your palid stars! The more the merrier! Looks like Rosie loves them too. I fell in love with Audrey's scrappy quilt too!
I cut out applique pieces for what I thought was two quilts. I ended up not making the second one and offered the pieces to another prim style quilter. She discovered that there were two sets in what I sent her. So I had actually cut out for three and not two. She passed the third set to another prim quilter.
What wonderful stars!
I am loving your scrappy teal blocks! Great start!
What a delightful surprise to find a second quilt cut out! The stars are looking great!
I saw Audrey's quilt and loved it. Your version will be so pretty!
I've cut enough sashing or setting triangles out for two quilts, but never the blocks! More to play with! Those scrappy blue strings are gorgeous together! Those little strings pack a lot of punch.:)
Fun to find "made" blocks!!
Those stars grow by leaps and bounds. The new project in teal looks very promising. It looks like it is eating up the smallest of your scraps.
great find - great blocks
Dear Julie,
love your stars and the scrappy look of the shaded new project, wonderful creativity.
Greetings,
Sylvia
Love all your plaid stars! And what fun teal blocks in the works too!
I also have been enamored with Audrey's scrap quilt and wanted to start it yesterday! Or perhaps last week even, however, common sense prevailed and other tops must be finished first. Thanks so much for sharing yours.
