Happy Monday!!

This are my blocks from Barb's nine patch exchange.  I have gotten this far on my design, but need a little more time to ruminate.  or illuminate!  Either way, I am so enjoying working with everyone's blocks.  Thank you for exchanging!
 More and more!
And progress on this quilt too.  These are the quilt blocks from Terry's treasures, last year.  She had a fun quilt along.  I have been figuring out how to set these blocks together too.
I am half way done sewing them all together.  The bright colors are so cheerful, and all from the scrap bin.  Love scrapping here!
And the biggest news ever!!  You know, I have sewn at the kitchen table forever.  That means everything needs to be put away each night, and straightened up for the evening meal.  I at last have a sewing machine cabinet!!  And it is just so much fun!  I can't wait to get it set up, where it will live.  It is going in the little sun room, so the bright pretty sunshine can pour in and make stitching a bigger joy.  Yippee!!

BINDING BLITZ!!!

Hope you all are BINDING!!!!  It is getting close to the end of the month, and the linkey party.  so finish up, and we will enjoy each other's finishes.

Have a great day, everyone!

Julie

Love your 9 patches but the scrappy stars are definitely my favorite, so bright and cheerful. If you cannot have a dedicated sewing room, then having a sewing cabinet is the next best thing - congratulations, I am sure you will enjoy it.

I did a bunch of the stars blocks like yours for the scrappy challenge group. Need to dig them out and make more so I can use them. That is a super snazzy sewing table..LOVE it! And about done with my 2nd binding project. Yippee!!

Love the possible/tentative/temporary layout of the 9 patch blocks. The addition of the little star as cornerstone in the Star Quilt is a very nice touch. Love that too. Congratulations on the new sewing machine cabinet. It is a very good investment I am sure. You'll have more time to sew !! YEAH! ;^)

You have had a happy Monday!! Enjoy the new cabinet. It certainly will make sewing even more fun and no pick up. That's a great setting for the little nine patches and I like the star as the cornerstone in your star quilt.

The sewing cabinet is wonderful, and you will be surprised how much more time you'll find to sew since you don't have to take down and set up each time you want to work even for a bit. Enjoy!

I love what you're doing with the 9 patches. Can't wait to see what you decide. And like Cathy, I looked for mine, and found them! Third row from the bottom, far left, the blue and pink ones. Barb's swap was much fun, and yielded beautiful blocks. I may just copy you...

Enjoy the cabinet in that sunny spot!

Congratulations on your sewing machine cabinet! I sewed at the kitchen table for many years and know what a chore it can be. There are advantages though. One is that I was right with the children while they played and scurried about their business. My sewing room is in a little corner of the basement now and I love it. I am nearly an empty nester so it is ok.

Enjoy!

I love what you are doing with the nine patch blocks.

Beautiful quilts! I haven't done as much as I have wished to. Our hospital has been bursting at the seams since Thanksgiving and no slow down for the holidays. So between these both have been too tired to do much. Work is still busy but with no holiday happenings, I am getting a bit of more sewing in. Mary Ann

Sweet blocks but love your machine cabinet. It will be nice to not have to stop and put everything away to make dinner.

Good morning to all!!!  Above is a hexagon, for English paper piecing.  My kitten Lucky has discovered them, and decided that they are great...
