Sidetracked!

Happy Tuesday!!  I have always loved the Sister's Choice quilt on Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville site.  So, I made a start...one block.  Then...I just had to know what 1/2 size blocks would look like.  So, I made a little quilt from these blocks.  All out of the 1.5 inch strip bin.  These fabrics are old friends...some VERY old friends...like 20 years old, LOL!
 Hanging from the fireplace.
And another little quilt.  This one is a Lori Smith pattern, from a book I lent out from the library.  The book is called "Fat Quarter Quilting", and it has so many cute small quilt patterns.  I renewed it...again...love it!!

It rained off and on today, and the same is to happen tomorrow.  I got some housework done, and piddled around with the above little quilts.  I am finding that I have way too much stimulation...too many quilts I want to make.  I need to find a way to filter all this stimuli a little better and concentrate on one thing at a time.  Please tell me you do this too, LOL!  ??  Time to make some tracks on the big Sister's Choice blocks!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Love, love your side tracks!!! I get that way, lots. To many delightful projects and not enough time..but it sure is fun planning! That is half the fun, Julie. Always enjoy you posts.

We are waitng for spring, our flowers are just as impatient to push through the soil as we are looking for them to do so!

Have fun quilting, I will too!

Wonderful little quilts, Julie. Sister's Choice is wonderful in the small version. It is on my short list, too, but I get so easily distracted that it takes a LONG time to get to the things on my short list! : )

The little quilts are adorable. I wonder if I could get more done, if I started making minis.

Sure would love some of that rain! Send it north, please.

Love your little quilts! Sidetracked? Hmmm, could that be why I have so many tops waiting to be quilted and so many waiting to be finished? Of course! Have fun playing with your old friend fabrics -- they are the best for scrap quilts!

I love your little quilts. It looks like you are getting a lot done. Nothing like rainy days to make me want to quilt. I have to keep a to do list or I'm like a raccoon and off to the next sparkle thing withou finishing anything! Great eye candy today.

If it weren't for getting sidetracked, I wouldn't have any fun and wouldn't have as much done! Sometimes the creative spirit just strikes you and you go with the flow.

I love this block too - and neat to see what you have done with it!!! Plus love your project out of the Lori Smith book. My head overflows often as well - but I have no solution sorry!

I stay sidetracked! Trying to finish my sister's choice so I can get yet another DD's quilt done! I have 3 more blocks to go on the sister's choice though. It's been such a fun quilt to piece.
Don't you just love all this rain! My little peach tree me and the grandkids planted is just growing growing. The rain makes it so happy! The little peaches are getting big!
