Well, the title says it all, right? I had made these pink string blocks in the spring time, and now? It is time to GET-ER-DUN! Thanks to my string swappers and donators, I was able to make a pink string border. I only have the last border to go, and it will be the perfect size for a patient quilt. Yahoo!!
Another view...
and these are the border wars! I love days when I can just mess around, figure out what I want to by...just doing it. Creativity is so much fun, isn't it??

Thanks to every one who might have thought that my last day (shift I worked) was actually my very last day as a nurse...no, I just meant the last day that I worked that week. Traumatizing!!! to say the least...again, thanks for the support.

I'm calling for an intervention! You are strung out on strings!!! lol
Every time I swear I'm done sewing strings, you post another fabulous string quilt. It's not fair. Stop being so creative and inspirational, will ya? Pleeeez.
ooooooo! I LOVE the pink"!!!! Hmmmm, may have to borrow that idea for a baby quilt for Shannon! Tooooo cute!
You just can't help it can you Julie! I have just started a new string project for a friend and an as happy as Larry! Love your pinks!
Sooooo pretty :)
Someone said to me recently...."life is better with pink"
Julie,
I love this quilt!! I too love pink and catch so much flack from my quilting bee girls on using so much pink. I love pink so why not. I might have to run over and aquire this quilt in the middle of the night.....hehe. Great work and I too am going to do that pattern one day, on my list of to do's.
I have to admit, There have been days that I thought I was done with nursing after a very harrowing day! Thanks the Lord for days off!
I love your pink string quilt! Very pretty!
Just love the pink string quilt, it's just wonderful!!!! I don't know where you find the time, these days I just don't seem to find time to sew! After an AM shift, I'm too brain dead to do anything but have a snack, watch the news and fall into bed LOL!!!! Days off go too quickly with chores and laundry! I did get a nice surprise this week though, I have been upgraded to Clinical Nurse Specialist, which is a really nice recognition from my Nurse Manager. It also means more responsibility, but I love my job and am grateful to have such a great team to work with!!
I have been so impressed by the quilt in your header, but I like this one even better!
WOW. I love this pink quilt.
