What is old...is new again! And more thank yous!

More scraps...I made several of these blocks a couple years ago, then they went into a bin...but I am finishing this quilt with scraps, and a setting design I came up with myself. I am sure it is not original, but it is original to me, LOL!! This is an official UFO, everyone...so whoohoo! I am finishing a UFO!!!
So here are the blocks, and then I am piecing a sashing, to make neutral stars in the middle of the sashing...well, I can't explain it, but when the quilt is finished, you will see!

THANK YOU!!

To

Becky R.
and
Terry G.

Thank you for gorgeous pinks to add to the box for our breast cancer survivor...thank you!!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Oh I remember these from last time round - lol ! And I remember how I liked them then and wanted to make some too and guess what - I still do. Could you tell me what size they finish at please ? - I might just have to make one block so I don't forget about them xxx

Another success story! It's good to finish of those UFOs - I'm still working thru mine - all 13 of them! Yikes! Clever you for finding a great setting!

Good for you Julie! A UFO heading for the finish line, I love it and the quilt top too! Looks like a great idea to me, and best of all you didn't need a New Years Eve UFO countdown to get at it...hurray!! Hugs, Finnie

I love these scrappy blocks... Should be an awesome quilt.. Just read your next post too about your nurses uniform - I have kept mine too from about thirty plus years ago!! I don't know why!! Times have changed for us..

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
