Could you help me with something??

HI Y'all!!

If you are a nurse, and a blogger, and a quilter...and I don't have you listed on my sidebar, would you do me the favor of letting me know about you? I would love to list you!! thank you!! I try to keep updated, but I think I have missed some of you...thank you again!!

Hey, did you know? MADAME SAMM of Stash Manicure is a retired nurse! Isn't that cool? I have also had the recent privelege of meeting MERILYN and GWARGEDD...both nurses and quilters!! Please see and visit my nursing friends listed to the right...they are fabulously talented!!!

Also....it makes me so sad when I cannot answer your questions or comments...Patty Nordahl, Lisa, and others from last post...let me know your e-mail addie and I can answer you!!! Sometimes we are listed as "no reply" on our blogs...you can fix that!! Thank you so much...have a great day, all!!

I would be happy to be listed in your sidebar! I made a new friend through your list (Stephanie in the NICU). We both work at Hopkins and we're going on retreat together in a couple weeks. Thank you!

I am a nurse, quilter and I have a blog, mostly as a kind of diary for myself. I work full time on med surg, same place for 20 years. I am 55 and mother of 4, mimi of 3 plus 2 coming this year. I used money left from my Mother to buy a 6 needle embroidery machine and a gammill longarm with a statler stitcher. Someday I will sew and quilt and embroider all day long!

Neat post Julie!! And a great idea as well, what fun to see how many nurses are also quilters. No nursing degree here, but I have worked as a Surgical Tech, and moonlighted in Delivery Room and ER. Little bit of everything except the degree and initials behind my name, LOL
Big hugs for my little TX friend, Finnie XXX

I'm an RN but no longer do hands-on patient care. I'm on the administrative side now. Love to quilt though I haven't much time. I really enjoy your blog and your nursing stories. Discovering that plaids are kind of fun in quilts too!

I'm a registered nurse working full time on a busy surgical unit. I try to get in as much sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking as possible on my days off. I really enjoy your blog and visit it often.

This sounds like 'how about me', its just that I've noticed I haven't been added to your side bar. Please don't think I'm being 'funny' because I'm not!

I always thought it was so interesting.... The quilt retreat that I used to go to way-back-when...I would be confident in saying that about 80% of the quilters there were in the health care industry. There's just something about quilters and health care professionals. ;)

Hugs!
