Lovely, that center really sets that block off!Kristie
Love what you're doing with the nine patch blocks! Good idea to sew up your Dear Jane as you go too. That's how I would do it! :0)
I really love that block a lot...I may just have to be a big copy cat...
So your 3 inch is the churn dash setting and your 6 inch is sister's choice? Will you work the two in to the same quilt or keep them separate? I love how much you get done - you must be very disciplined!
I've made of few of these blocks, too. Two great blocks in one!
Love this block and the fabric choices.Debbie
Great idea to use the 9 patch for your center...this is going to look wonderful!
It's perfect, Julie! Churn Dash is one of my most favorite blocks, and I love the nine-patch in the center! Beautiful, simple, perfect. :D
Churn Dash is another fave block of mine. Love your fabric choices! So the Sister's Choice is for your 6" 9 patches, right?
You have been very industrious. That was a good idea to use the 9 patches.I have fallen a little behind on my Civil War blocks, those stars slowed down the process considerably. But it is for pleasure and not a competition so I will just plod along.
Nice block....I love the colors!
so they finish at 7" then?? so cute! I swapped (actually hosted) a few years back quarterly mini 9patch swaps all year and have over 800 in th esewing room waiting to be used for something one day. These are SOOOO cute - I also saw the other block in a previous post and it was cute too :)Thanks for sharing! Love from Texas! ~bonnie
This is Julie S, and I guess I'd better get going to catch up with you! Love what you're doing with your 9-patches!
You copied our block. One of our members just commented that you had done this at her suggestion. She didn't know that I knew you. Looks good. I just showed the one I made, quilted on my last blog.
