Hi Y'all!! I had a few minutes...and made a few Klosjes!! I have the basket almost full now, and when basket is full I can start putting all the spool blocks together. I like the red one the best of this latest batch.
I finished hand quilting the plaid stars quilt, with Baptist fans all over. I had lots of waiting time this week, so tried to take advantage of this and quilt when I could. This was the best fun!!

Just the texture on the back...large stitches equals large fun!!!

Hugs to all...hope your week is going along splendidly!!!

Great job on the hand-quilting. It would take me years to do that.

So the medical problem is behind you now...hope everything turned out well.

The hand quilting is fun...small or large stitches...what do you use for marking your quilting pattern?

Have a great week!

Welcome back--you were missed. I'm not sure which one you mean by "red" but the middle one on the left side that is red/cream is MY favorite. Nice job.

Your Klosjie's look great. I like the cheddar one :)

Wow you work fast on those fans! I'm thinking of using fans on my little Strawberry Fields quiltalong doll quilt. I'm curious, tho: Do you use perle cotton or regular quilting thread when you hand quilt?

I see you pin basted to hand quilt. I heard it from the quilt police that hand quilting requires thread basting. How did that go? Sure would speed things up for me if I could get away with pin basting for hand quilting. It's a lovely quilt. So yummy and warm and ready for winter (which is where I'm at right now - although our afternoons are still quite nice). So what thread did you use for your big stitch quilting?

Wow! Well done.
Yes, someone else already asked. What thread did you use please?

Your klosjes are looking great, and glad to see you found some time for yourself to handquilt your plaids. That will be a cosy quilt to snuggle under. Thanks for sharing.

The stars quilt is gorgeous and the hand quilting...S-U-P-E-R-B!

Are you machine piecing your klosjes, Julie? If so, would you mind sharing the pattern? I love it! As much as I love hand work, I think I would rather machine piece mine and I just can't seem to locate a pattern.

It goes without saying that I'm so happy you're back!

I love your quilt I admire your patience I don't think I could hand quilt anything.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
