Transformations!

Here is our new little dog...please, please scroll down and see her picture when she first came to our door. After much coaxing and lovings...here she is all dolled up. Rosie (named by dear husband) appears to be a pure poodle! She is such a little doll. Housebroken. Good watch dog. Darling and affectionate. Hmmm, wonder why she was dumped?? She has made herself right at home, as you can see.

A package for Joan! Please see her blog at www.shelbystitcher.blogspot.com. We are both making spools, but hers are 5 inch and mine are 3.5 inch. So we swapped! How cool is that...and here are hers, ready to go.
These are many of the same fabrics...except Joan, I did not send you a lime green one, somehow I don't think that would fit into your thimbleberry palette!! LOL! I cut out...one million more. Well, maybe not quite, but enough to keep me sewing a long, long time.
When I get my very sophisticated, fancy container full...then I will say "Enough" and make the quilt.

Weight Watcher update....

I have lost right around 11 pounds now. I am in a smaller size! And that is good. Maybe I can actually (gulp) wear shorts this summer???

Have a super week!

Julie

Maybe her family lost their home, the news says many animals are getting dumped or just left behind in foreclosure homes. How sad. BUT good on you for taking her in, she'll pay you back in spades!

I'm so happy to see that you are keeping that cute puppy! I have a black toy poodle (my first small dog) and he's the best dog of my life. I've heard that poodles adapt very quickly to a new home - they just want to be with you and snuggle.

She's prettied up and perched on patchwork, so obviously she fits right in. Welcome, Rosie, to blogland!

Those spools are so tempting but so far I have been able to resist. Love yours! So fun to swap.

Congrats on working on your weight. It is always satisfying to go down a size.

Oh my gosh these are so cute! I love your spools. I know just what a good feeling you're experiencing in that new size although, dear friend, after seeing you in person I really can't imagine much more loss is needed. I mean... just sayin' you're kinda small already.

And super SPECTACULAR congratulations on new addition. So cute she is. Yeah!!!

Hurray for you and your WW success!!! So happy for you...and proud, even though I've not had anything to do with your efforts. lol

How is your loving hubby doing?

And Rosie! Goodness...what a sweet story. I'm so glad that she picked you!

Love and hugs!

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
